Greetings beautiful Soul Peeps
Thanks to all for sharing
Recovery from addiction has empowered me to experience kindness on both the giving and receiving end every day with every clean and sober breath I take
I have come to know that all I have every wanted was to be kind
Aho Mighty Companions
I find people to be fairly kind all the time, but I think my memory of kindness usually comes from strangers, and one day when I first came to town about 25 years ago or however much I was in the health food store and I was a young mother and I didn’t have enough money to pay for my groceries and a random person that I did not know handed me $20 so me and my kids were able to eat. The gratitude for that still brings tears to my eyes this many years later
What a beautiful story Raven … I agree that people are inherently good and kind. It saddens me that our news cycle repeatedly focuses on the dark side of human nature, I feel that is not the normal mode of people but the exception.
The gratitude I feel and given has always been stronger since my amputation but I feel it growing even more since I started this challenge 11 days ago. I spent a few minutes today talking to the lady who was serving us when we went shopping today. Sharing some chocolate with Calum, my son.
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me? One of mum’s friends at work let me look after her Dartmoor pony called Ginger.

Lucky for Ginger!
