Do you remember being a kid, carefree most days, slow and curious, out to discover the magic in the woods or down by the water?
Time moved differently. Nothing hurried you out of the moment that had caught your attention. Maybe you were more fearless. I know I was. I'd climb to the highest branch, ride my bike as fast as it would go, stay out late enough to feel the moon on my skin.
Somewhere along the way life turned adult, and that wild, spontaneous nature slowly went tame. The moments got scheduled. They got rarer. And I stopped telling anyone I was playing in the woods or talking to the creatures who came out at night.
I became the responsible one. Paying the bills, tending the house, holding a respectable job, spending free time catching up on what was overdue. Play got penciled in once in a while, and over the years my sense of joy and wonder morphed into an adult version that never quite felt as free.
And maybe you've done all the workshops, read all the books, spent years healing the past, letting go of blocks, integrating the baggage, reclaiming soul pieces, taking back your power as much as you can. Again, and again, and again.

I'm Dakota. I was that kid. Rocks in my pockets, mud on my shoes, a collection of sticks and feathers on my shelves, and a curiosity about the natural world that has followed me ever since.
For years I've taught the framework of the Living Wheel, a blueprint that brings the old ways, animism, Celtic cosmology, and natural living into modern, everyday life. Hundreds of students from all over the world have walked all four seasons of it, reclaiming, healing, transforming, and living more in tune with the natural world.
But over the past two years I've heard the same thing again and again, from students, from friends, from people who gravitate toward this path.
"I'm so done with having to go back and heal. I just want to live fully and experience what's real to me right now."
And wow, do I get that. Aren't you exhausted by the courses that keep telling you there's more to heal, more to transform, more to integrate?
This year we walk forward. We may glance back once in a while, but I won't make you dig into what you've already done. I'm going to meet you here, in the present, and we're going to bring back the wonder and the curiosity. We'll explore the natural world and deepen the relationship to what lives in us and around us.
I'll ask you, many times, to set down the adult for an hour and find the part of you that once lived in the spontaneous joy of something we'd now call simple. And as women, we're going to reclaim the audacious, feral, untamed goddess we were born to rise from. To put down the expectation that we be quiet, polite, agreeable, and aware of our place. That version is done.
There is magic happening all around us, in every moment, and as adults we miss it. We're tuned to the stressors, the news, the responsibilities we carry. I can't promise those go away. I'm confident I can help you hold both, so you have as much access to joy and wonder as you do to everything you have to keep a pulse on.

How the Wheel Turns
We travel through four arcs. Otherworld, Instinct, Feral, and Coven. Each one is nine weeks made of three cycles, and each weaves a distinct progression of rewilding your soul.
The wheel moves the way the seasons do. You start in the dark, in the body and in the ground. Not the shadow dark. The dark that holds mystery, and the liminal places where we can work in both worlds at once.
You come up through the winter into your own instinct, which is a different creature than intuition. Instinct is the natural system that knows how to move through the world, the wild knowing that has always run in your veins.
In the spring we go feral. We unleash from expectation and follow the movement your wild soul has been suppressing. You already know what suppresses it. Now it's time to embrace it fully.
And in the autumn we come full circle to the harvest, to find out what all of it was for.
Twelve months. Full circle. You end where you started, and you will never be the same again.
The Living Wheel
A Map of Your Soul's Aliveness
Seven energies, each one holding a part of you. Vision, voice, and sacred action in the East. Heart, passion, and play in the South. Nature, fire, and embodiment in the West. Spirit, silence, and connection in the North. The Center holds all of it at once. The whole of the wheel is held in place by Mother Earth through grounding, and the Sky Spirits carry the lineage of everyone who has gone before us and still moves through ordinary reality, reminding us of our place in the cosmos.
The cosmology of the Living Wheel came to me through direct revelation, in journeys, over years. I've been teaching it for over 20 years to hundreds of students looking for a way to live more fully and to bring their spiritual life and their everyday life into the same room.
The Living Wheel holds all of it. The job you work, the relationships you carry, the ground you walk every day, and the prayers you whisper at night.
Each year we explore one theme and meet the wheel through a single lens. This year the lens is the in-between. What happens where two directions merge, west into north, north into east, east into south, south into west. The space between two directions carries the marriage of both, and it makes a movement of energy with no ceiling on it.
The Living Wheel is what lets the curious, joyful, uninhibited part of you live boldly alongside the part that carries your deep wisdom and your maturity. It was never either or. It has always been this and that.
The way you teach the wheel has made me look at my life completely different. I'll always be grateful for finding this path.

The community calls, where everyone has room to speak and share. This is where the coven starts before you know that's what it is. A place to be witnessed, supported, and to find kinship with others out playing in the woods and finding their wildness.

We begin and end every arc in ceremony. The opening invites in the spirit team who'll walk with us and starts the bond inside the circle. The closing gives each person room to share a personal threshold ritual, marking what they've crossed.

Annual enrollment and the annual Druid tier of Soul Fire Collective
An hour a month, live, in a room small enough that everyone gets to speak. 20 seats. Nothing recorded, so you can say the thing you'd never say on tape. The day and the hour move every month, so the room reaches Singapore as often as it reaches Maine. Anyone turned away from a full session goes to the front of the line next time. This one is co-ed.

Four weeks between each arc. Time to rest, time to go back to whatever you want more time with, and time to let it land. During The Clearing you can attend the sacred crafting workshop or the live meditation held for the public, and it prepares you for the arc that's coming.

Carry It Home
Lead a Living Wheel Hedge Circle where you live.
A wheel taught once and kept in a workbook stops there. A wheel carried into a living room, a back yard, a library meeting room, keeps turning.
At the close of the year, women who have walked the full turn can be certified to lead a Living Wheel Hedge Circle in their own area. Your certificate comes from me, and your circle is listed on this site so the women near you can find it.
Four additional training calls run through the year, one in each Clearing between the arcs. They're for the practical side of holding a circle: what you're carrying, what you're not, and how to keep it yours.
Your listing stays live for as long as you're running a circle, and the women near you find you through it. The training calls keep running for everyone certified, so you're never holding the room alone.

Start with OtherworldThe year has a theme and all four arcs build it. Each arc stands on its own, and the full turn gives you the fuller story. Joining an annual plan in April puts you half in this year's theme and half in the next. Single arcs stay available all year. The full turn is sold once.
Buy Otherworld now and move up to the full year any time before Arc Two opens on January 24. Your $655 comes straight off and you pay the difference of $1,233. You land in the same place as someone who bought the year in October.

About Dakota
I'm a Celtic medicine woman, a shamanic teacher, and a meditation teacher trained in shamanic breathwork and trance dance, and I've been walking this path for 38 years. I bring all of that to the circle. But the part of me leading the Wheel of Your Wild Becoming carries different titles: earth wanderer, curious explorer, wild woman, old soul.
I grew up in the woods, building forts and trudging through creeks, coming home filthy, late, and pleased with myself. Not much has changed, except that now I'm far more in tune with the hum that sings beneath the forest floor.
There's a former landfill near my home. It sits between me and the Androscoggin River in Maine. When I walk my woods I carry a bag for the trash that blew in years ago and settled into the forest floor as though it belonged. I've been tending the land here for over a year, and longer than that in every place I've lived. It feels different now. The land knows my feet and my breath, and every day on my medicine walks I find the signals that tell me I belong here.
I walk beside you, sharing what I've learned and embodied. I never teach what I haven't gone through myself. I'll tell you what I've seen, I'll tell you what I can't prove, and I won't ask you to believe any of it before you've tried it.
On this path you'll meet all of me. The rough edges, the polished moments, the emotions that move me, and the pure delight I get from the smallest treasures I find along the way.

Questions
Do I need experience?
No. You need the willingness to embrace the idea of coming alive, and that may call for a flashlight on some nights, or the patience to sit in one spot, or a good belly laugh.
Is this a religion?
Only if you consider earth your religion. The Living Wheel is a container that holds all traditions, and if you follow none, that's fine too.
What if I can't make the live calls?
Hedge School calls are always recorded, and replays are available during the arc dates. Once the arc ends, those recordings come down.
Fireside Chats, Sonic Alchemy, and Liminal Hour are never recorded.
If you're working toward certification to lead Living Wheel Hedge Circles, you need to attend 80% of the live calls. Certification is only open to annual members.
Do I have to present my ritual at the closing Wayfinding Circle?
No. You're invited to share with the community and never required. Even if you don't share, come and hold the space for those who do.
Is this only for women?
This work comes from the feminine and speaks to her directly. Anyone who feels called is welcome.
What's your refund policy?
7 days from purchase, and it closes once week one materials are released. Digital materials can't be returned once they're in your hands.
Within that window you have two options. Store credit at full value, good toward private sessions, journeys, workshops, books, and anything else in the Vault. Or a refund, less payment processing fees and a $50 administrative fee. Credit can't be applied to in-person retreats.
Can I upgrade to the full year later?
